Optional Features

The clutch system operates with a beaded chain loop making it easier to lift larger or heavier shades. To operate, pull the beaded loop to the desired height. The beaded loop is approximately 2/5th the height of the shade.

The clutch lifting system is available on a 1-1/4” and 2” deep headrail. Advise left or right pull. A tension device will be provided with each beaded chain loop to permanently attach to your wall or window frame.

Shade side return flaps are provided on all outside mounted shades. They will be the width of the headrail and 5” in length.

Front operation is available. Front operation places the operating cord within easy reach. Head rail depth for  for clutch lifting system is 2”. This option places the shade fabric closer to the window.

Motorization is available for both roman and roller shades.  Motors are either rechargeable or wired.   Operated by wall control or remote controls.   Also available as app on mobile devices.

Motorization is ideal for oversized or hard to reach windows.

Top down only is also available. This operation does allow for clutch operation.

An optional valance is available on the front of the shade, reverse side of shade or both. A front valance may be desired for a decorative element or to conceal lifting options on sheer shades.
A reverse valance or a fabric lined valance is preferable if a shade with a lifting option is visible from outside to conceal the operating mechanism from the exterior/interior view.

This option is often requested with our sheer weaves with optional clutch lifting system. Fabric lining (white or ivory) is attached from top of shade 5” down to conceal the clutch housing from the front view of the shade.

This option is used when the shade has fabric lining and there is a desire to hide the clutch lifting system from the outside of the window. Valance will be white or ivory with a hemmed bottom.
